Stupid press questions at the Masters
Press guy: "Tiger, why is it that in the history of the Masters no one has put together four rounds in the 60's?"
Tiger: "Because it's hard."
DUH!
Press guy: "Tiger would you enjoy blowing away the field and winning by ten?"
Tiger: "Yes."
DUH!
Press guy: "Phil, what did you take from your duel with Tiger at Doral?"
Phil: "A loss."
DUH!
My goal for next year is to get into the Masters as the first golf blogger to get a press credential.

Having participated in numerous press conferences at golf tournaments, the stupid questions that come up never fail to boggle my mind.
My only explanation is that Augusta draws a lot of sports writers that don't typically cover golf and don't understand the sport. Remember when Tiger had that great string of major wins and suddenly some sports columnists were predicting he'd never lose? Well those are the same jokers who ask stupid questions like the ones you've posted here.
